uClinux on an Arm Cortex-M4: a cost-benefit analysis

Abstract

This presentation gives a short introduction to the possibilities and the limitations of running uClinux on a small microcontroller, the Arm Cortex-M4. The presentation outlines how much work has to be done to get uClinux running on an M4, and also analyzes the benefits of doing so. There is also a comparison between uClinux and other "free" operating systems.
